Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-11-04
These terms apply to everyone who uses notabug.games. By submitting a video or rating one, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
notabug.games is operated by Mad About Pandas GmbH, Oranienstraße 37, 10999 Berlin, Germany ("we", "us"). You can reach us at contact@notabug.games.
notabug.games runs the Gaming Moments Awards: challenges inside video games, decided by the community's ratings.
2. Who can take part
You must be at least 18 years old to take part in notabug.games (sign up, enter or rate videos) and to win a prize. When you create an account you give your date of birth and confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not verify it; if we learn that a player is under 18, we may remove the account and its entries, and a prize is not awarded.
To enter or rate a video you need an account: an e-mail address, a player name and a password. We send a link to the address to confirm that it is yours, and again whenever you ask for a new password. Your YouTube channel name is taken from your video, and the channel of your first entry stays with your account.
Use one username only. Rating from several devices or browsers to push the same video, or using someone else's name, is not allowed.
3. How competitions work
- Each challenge has its own rules, shown on the challenge page. Those rules are part of these terms.
- You record your attempt, upload it to your own YouTube channel and submit the link. Each person and each YouTube channel can enter a challenge once.
- Signed-in players rate entries from 1 to 5 for creativity, humor and execution, after watching the whole video; the overall score is the average of the three. One rating per account and video. An entry needs at least 5 ratings to qualify, and it counts once its player has rated videos in other challenges (the number is shown on the site).
- The ratings decide: the Top 10 are the qualified entries with the highest overall score when rating ends.
- If entries are tied for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, an additional rating round decides (see the official contest rules).
- Challenges move through phases (open for entries, rating, results). The dates and times on the challenge page are binding. We change them only as described in the official contest rules.
Some challenges have prizes; section 12 and the challenge page say which prizes and on which conditions. Every place is also recognition: a place in the results, on your profile and in the awards archive.
4. Your videos
Your video stays on YouTube and remains yours. You must follow YouTube's terms and the terms of the game you play.
By submitting a link you allow us, free of charge and for as long as the entry is on notabug.games, to show the video through YouTube's player; to copy the video's thumbnail picture to our server and show it on notabug.games and in link previews of your entry; to show the video's title, your username and your results; and to mention your entry, with its title and thumbnail, when we present the challenge and its winners, including on social media.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything in your video and its thumbnail (gameplay, music, voices, pictures, other people) or are allowed to use it, and that it does not break any law.
If you delete the video on YouTube or make it private, it can no longer be shown and may lose its place.
5. What is not allowed
- content that is illegal, sexual, hateful, harassing, or that shows or encourages real-world harm;
- content that copies someone else's video or that you do not have the rights to;
- more than one account per person;
- manipulating ratings: several accounts, devices or browsers, buying, selling or trading ratings, rating deals, bots or other automated tools;
- rating your own entry from another device;
- cheats or modifications that a challenge does not allow;
- pretending to be someone else, or misusing notabug.games technically (scraping, attacks, overloading).
Every entry is reviewed before publication. If you break these rules we can remove entries or ratings, disqualify you from a challenge, or block your account or device from taking part.
To keep the vote fair, we may hold, check and exclude ratings, for example when several accounts use one internet connection or one device. A held rating is saved but counts only after our team has checked it. A person on our team decides, not a machine alone. If we exclude your ratings or block your account, you can ask us to check again (contact@notabug.games). Many homes, offices and phone networks share one connection, so a new account from one of them can still sign up and rate.
6. Sponsors and advertising
Some challenges may be sponsored by a brand or game publisher; this is shown on the challenge page. notabug.games may show advertising. Sponsors and advertisers do not decide ratings or results.
7. Independence and trademarks
notabug.games is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube, Google or any game publisher unless a challenge page says so. Game names and trademarks belong to their owners.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep notabug.games available, but we cannot promise that it is always online or free of errors. We may change, pause or end challenges or the service.
We may update these terms. Important changes are announced on notabug.games before they apply. If you keep using notabug.games after that, the new terms apply.
9. Liability
notabug.games is free. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law, such as the German Product Liability Act, does not allow a limit. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential obligation, that is an obligation that makes the proper use of notabug.games possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely; our liability is then limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.
10. Removing your entries
You can ask us at any time to remove your entries, ratings and username by writing to contact@notabug.games. Tell us your username and the links of your videos so we can find them.
11. Law
These terms are governed by German law. The courts of Berlin have jurisdiction, as far as the law allows. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country stay unaffected.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12. Prizes
In the edition "One Last Ride – The GTA V Farewell Edition" each of the six challenges has three prizes: 1st place a $50 Steam Gift Card, 2nd place a $30 Steam Gift Card, 3rd place a $20 Steam Gift Card. The places are decided as described in section 3. Taking part is free.
The prizes are provided by the organizer, Mad About Pandas GmbH. To win you must be at least 18 years old (section 2). Winners are contacted by e-mail at the address of their account, and the gift card code is sent by e-mail; we never ask for bank details.
Steam gift cards are subject to regional availability and delivery restrictions. Where delivery is unavailable, the organizer may provide an alternative prize of equivalent value.
This competition is independently organized by notabug.games and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by any game publisher or platform operator.
The official contest rules at https://notabug.games/en/contest-rules apply to the prizes and are part of these terms.
13. Reporting content and how we decide
Anyone can tell us about content on notabug.games that they think is illegal or breaks these terms: use "Report" on the entry or player page, or write to contact@notabug.games. Please give the link, explain what is wrong, and confirm that your report is accurate and complete. Your name and e-mail address are optional, but without them we cannot tell you our decision. We confirm that we received your report and tell you our decision without undue delay.
Our team reviews every entry before it is published, and checks every report and every held rating. A person on our team decides. Automated tools only mark accounts and ratings for that check (section 5); they do not decide on their own.
If we do not publish an entry, remove it, hold or exclude ratings, or block an account, we tell the player by e-mail what we did, why, which rule of these terms or which law it is based on, and how to challenge it. If you think we are wrong, reply to that e-mail and tell us why; we will check again and answer you. You can also go to court.
Our single point of contact for players, for people reporting content and for authorities (EU Digital Services Act, Articles 11 and 12) is contact@notabug.games. You can write to us in English or German.
